This position will perform general maintenance of equipment in a regulated FDA manufacturing environment for the production and packing of VITEK 2 cards. The position will perform the operation, preventative maintenance, and trouble-shooting of high speed equipment.  Complete Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work orders independently for the different equipment groups.Inspect and maintain machines to prevent future failures or restore to serviceable and acceptable operating conditions.Executing maintenance proceduresMonitoring operationsRecording maintenance activitiesTrace errors within machine operations.Exercising equipmentChecking inputs and outputsDocumenting findingsCheck Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility.Taking measurements in accordance with standardization procedureCleaning and adjusting M&TESelect and use appropriate Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE) to measure industrial equipment and component conditions in an accurate, repeatable, and reproducible manner.Taking measurementsRecording results of measurementsMiscellaneousEstablish good documentation practicesFollow proper procedures and techniques including to adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelinesUse CMMs software correctly by complete pms, enter urgent work orders, attach parts, attach labor, search for parts.Complete all scheduled training on timeNavigation of finding documents and drawings in the applicable systemSupport Total Productive Maintenance activities by being an active participant, when applicableBe accessible to people on the plant floor to discuss problems and ideas.Maintain good relationships with Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Facilities Maintenance.Work overtime as needed to ensure the required labor resource needs are met.Reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential job function required for this position.Position Requirements:  Technical degree in a manufacturing technology discipline such as industrial controls and manufacturing processes is preferred or 5 years of work experience in a similar environment.  Good Mechanical AptitudeKnowledge of automation controls.Knowledge of manufacturing equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic hardware.Knowledge of quality systems and FDA controls.Computer Skills: Word, Excel, CMMs System #biojobs PandoLogic.
