Sustainability & Business Development is tasked with navigating the path for Hondas future Energy products, services, and businesses with a focus on environmental sustainability. The team will focus on building and sustaining Hondas core brand values and enhancing brand image and competitiveness in the marketplace by innovating, incubating, selecting, developing, applying, and operating new businesses, features, products, and services with responsibility for their profitability, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction for Honda in North America.The Home Energy Business Analyst role is responsible for  researching, developing, and implementing new home energy and energy solutions in the market. This position fits within the overall development and daily execution of the Sustainability Business Division focused in the Energy and EV Charging Solutions businesses. The position will be a key contributor to provide new revenue streams to AHM and new value to our vehicle customer through home energy management systems and services while being a part of other areas such as, home charging hardware (EVSE) sales, digital online sales, public charging, charging incentive of electric vehicles in support of Honda's 2030 Vision (Mobility, Robotics, and Energy).This role will be supporting the development and implementation of the EV customer home integration experience strategy. The person will understand implicitly every aspect of the connected home, and how the EV can and should work in the customer's lifestyle at home. Be the champion of ensuring the EV customer is empowered and motivated to experience whole home electrification . This role requires having solid understanding of the benefits of home solar, battery ESS, EV charging, HPWH, HVAC for homeowners and BEV owners.Key AccountabilitiesOwn and conduct necessary product research, market research, data analysis, and marketing & sales support, and support the Unit Lead and other team members with project execution 50%Work cross-functionally to support the development of Home Energy Business sales strategies, optimizing for seamless customer experience and business profitability.Support the implementation of operational improvements within Honda/Acura Home Electrification Marketplace and home energy, more broadlyPropose new projects to realize new capabilities in the business.Show strong passion and initiative with deep understanding in home energy products, charging infrastructure, home improvement projects, residential customers.
