Job Description

Ensure that human resources policies and procedures are managed consistently both within the department and across the company.• Respond to queries related to job applications and job offers.• Assist with employee onboarding to ensure an effective experience for new employees.• Assist with hotel reservations, flight reservations, and car service for new employees as needed and as requested by management.• Assist in the orientation of new employees to foster a positive attitude toward company goals and ensure that applicants and employees understand company policies and procedures.• Process all pre-employment and new hire documentation accurately and in a timely manner.• Verify I-9 documentation and report new hires to government entities in an accurate and timely mannerServe as support for the E-Verify Program and ensure that the Company complies with all laws applicable to I-9 and E-Verify.• Update information in employee files, scan and retrieve documents from employee files, and provide information to authorized personnel.• Assist in collecting all renewal documents, including employment authorization and drivers license.• Assist with employee benefits, Open Enrollment, Initial Enrollment and Terminations.• Responsible for managing item tracking at Spectrum; Add and remove devices, process and save all property forms, and provide forms to the administrative employee.• Responsible for processing employee terminations in a timely manner.• Help schedule employee training and save all certifications.• Ensure Human Resources forms are organized and updated to ensure they are easily available.• Assist with blogging for employee anniversaries, new hires, promotions, special events, wellness, and other HR activities in a timely mannerEDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:• Education: Associates or bachelors degree or a combination of education and experience in human resources or benefits administration.• Experience: 3 years or more in Human Resources.• Computer skills: To perform this job successfully, a person must have knowledge of Internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and word processing software.
