Wave Solder and Potting Machine Operator- 6:45***** $20-$22hr DOE Wave ***** • Set up, program, and operate production machinery in the Wave Solder / Selective Solder Area in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. • Read and interpret visual aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery. • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. • Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured, ensuring accuracy in work. • Inspect PCBs for solder quality and cleanliness to ensure that process is compliant. • Provide proper Maintenance for all Manufacturing equipment and update records as needed. • Work under the guidance of Process/Manufacturing Engineering. • Assist Manufacturing Engineering in the repair and upkeep of machinery. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. ***** • Operate and set-up a machine to manufacture a resin material that protects Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) • Potting of electronic assemblies. • Prepare potting compound when the machine is running low. • Inspect potted assemblies for curing and for porosity. • Perform daily and weekly basic maintenance recommended by manufacturer procedure.
