AP Health is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Assistant to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Reports to the Senior Vice President **as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Roomand drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeonand retracting of all tissue layersgood knowledge of anatomyin the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assignedcomprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinationsevery 5th weekend and 1 to 2 weekly night call coverage*National Surgical Assistant CertificationBLS requiredGreater than 2 to 3 years, highly skilled multiple specialties in the area of First AssistingHealth insurance through the company's medical, dental and vision insurance plans where the company pays 100% of the Employee's portion of the high-deductible plan.
