Formerly CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clientsWe are currently hiring for an Apartment Maintenance Technician in Ithaca, NY.Temporary to PermanentMonday to Friday, 7.30am - 4pmOvertime and On call rotation required$17.50-$21.00/hour depending on experience Candidates must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and flooring; HVAC experience helpfulPosition is also responsible for grounds maintenance and snow removalMust be able to adapt to changing work prioritiesMust be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as on a teamMust have good communication skills for timely follow-up on work orders with team membersStrong customer service skills required and experience needed to interact with residents, contractors, fellow team members.Requirements:• Minimum 2+ years prior maintenance skills -- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, flooring, cleaning and general maintenance repair skills; HVAC helpful or will train.• Prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills helpful.
