Airswift is looking for a HSE Advisor to work for a major offshore wind client in Rhode Island, for an initial 12-month assignment likely to be extended. The QHSE advisor promotes and delivers professional expertise, offering guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on safe work practices, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with legal regulations. Additionally, they facilitate the identification and elimination of potential hazards while ensuring the implementation of effective control measures. Required ***** • English language skills required. • Relevant academic or technical background • Minimum 3-5 years' work experience with QHSE, ideally from relevant fields of industry • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills • IT literate (Microsoft office package, knowledge of Synergy is an advantage) • Demonstratable experience in dealing with 3rd party contractors in relation to QHSE. Education/***** • Engineering degree (marine engineering, aeronautical engineering, Mechanical engineering preferred) • GWO for offshore visits Working ***** The role includes onshore as well as offshore activity and variation in the work pattern is likely to occur. Flexibility is required. • The norm is a 5-day week, 10-hour days. • Coming preassembly/loadout activity and offshore installation a work week can extend pending options for rotations and offshore crew exchange.
