Staff Accountant: About the Company: Our company is a leader in health care and is looking for a Staff Accountant to support their clinics. Help maintain and improve month-end close processes, including monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Perform bank reconciliations. Complete month-end close work in the following areas: prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, operating expenses and other areas as needed. Ensure compliance with GAAP. Respond to information requests and assist with the annual financial statement audit. Analyze financial statements and GL accounts to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual fluctuations are in line with expectations and documented. Assist the accounting manager, director of accounting, and controller as needed.Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance 1-2 years of experience Ability to read and analyze financial statements/reports Strong problem solving and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel
