Job DescriptionThe SR Custodial Manager is responsible for leading custodial operations and supervise, train, and direct custodial service workers. Reports to and supports the Operations Manager or General Manager in achieving objectives and client expectations.Job ResponsibilitiesTrains employees on proper and safe use of all equipment and chemicals. Ensures a safety moment and safety training is completed on a daily and/or weekly basisRespond to communication on a frequent basis and timely manner. Communication may come from Aramark email, client email, or phone callsMaintains compliance with Aramark and Client standards, scope of work, Business Conduct Policy, and all federal, state, and local regulations. Recruits, interviews, and makes hiring decisionsEnsures adherence to assigned schedules and routes and corrects inefficienciesReview, edit, and approve timecards in timekeeping systemRecognize employees.Long DescriptionEffectively coach and train employees utilizing methods that support each individual?s learning style to develop employees to success and promotabilityModel professional behavior and languageSupport a diverse team of employees with equity and inclusivityCompletes daily inspections to ensure qualityComputer use is required. Highly proficient with MS word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and ability to learn various software systems to support the positionEffectively train and support employees on floor care process and equipment, as neededReviews work orders to prioritize and understand supplies and labor required to complete the projectQualificationsAt least 3-5 years of progressive management in custodial services Management experience in a diverse environment Custodial experience in a related industry is strongly preferred  Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience preferred Ability to coordinate and lead capital projects, maintenance plans, and funding requests from conception to completion is required Requires strong financial analysis, interpretation, budgeting and computer skills Profit and Loss accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is highly desirable  Must demonstrate strong leadership, customer service, communication and team building skills Must be very organized and be able to work well under pressure, while handling multiple priorities simultaneously This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
