Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsMRI Technologist (Monday - Friday, dayshift) Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida-licensed MRI Technologist on a full-time basis who will perform procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity. Please note our facility is a Level II Trauma Center which requires availability for rotating call assignments.As an MRI Technologist, responsibilities include but are not limited to: Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI (and associated) equipment Obtain high-quality MR images assuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretationFacilitate the procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques to accommodate all patients and select, prepare and administer the appropriate contrast material if orderedPrepare, transfer and position patients as needed ensuring modesty, safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicatedDocument all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on timeMaintain proactive and effective communication with patient and other caregiver colleagues to include the radiologistMonitor the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with necessary suppliesAccept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care Qualifications Vocational/Technical school Current ARRT registry Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT) 1-3 years of experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relation, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills are necessary Ability to read/comprehend written instructions as well as follow verbal instructions This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital has been serving the community since 1981.
