As a global pharmaceutical company, we offer the chance to be part of a worldwide team, where passion and commitment are met with opportunities for professional and personal development.ResponsibilitiesThe Regional Medical Affairs Lead (RMAL) at CSL Vifor is an experienced, field-based, medical, scientific, and clinical expert serving in a hybrid role to support CSL Vifor's therapeutic areas and products as a field medical liaison and providing field medical expertise for market access, and clinical development.Reporting to the Head of US Field Medical Affairs, you will support the CSL Vifor product and pipeline assets by advancing scientific and collaborative relationships with key members of the external healthcare community, key population-based decision makers (PBDMs) and internal stakeholders aimed towards improving patient outcomes.The RMAL will be a conduit for providing accurate and updated clinical, scientific, and health economic information to KOLs, HCPs, population-based decision makers, and other members of the scientific, provider, and payer community (private insurance, payers, medical groups, government agencies, and health systems with drug formularies), in compliance with all relevant company policies.The RMAL is also responsible for providing clinical, educational, and study support to the investigator sites for clinical development programs to enhance site education and patient recruitment efforts in collaboration with the clinical operations teams.QualificationsYou will need to have a Doctorate level degree in medical, scientific degree, biology, or chemical degree OR you could have another medical or scientific degrees (master's level) may be considered along with clinical experience in a relevant therapeutic area aligned with the CSL Vifor portfolio (Nephrology, Pulmonology)You will have 4+ years of MSL/RMAL/field medical experience.8+ years of experience pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience within medical affairs, market access, and/or clinical trial experience.You can travel up to 60%, including some weekends.Home-office based in the following States, CO, KS, MO, NE, IA, MN, SD; ideally near a major airport.Preferred RequirementsExperience in the field of nephrology and cardiovascular medicine.Experience working in rare disease space.Knowledge with scientific engagements and presentations to PBDMs and payor community.Experience with clinical trial support.The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $185K - $220K. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for you is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies, and other relevant factors.
