ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with automotive industry standards. This includes, but not limited to, ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, JMAC, VDA, CQC, ECE, etc. Ensure effective documentation control by managing the creation, review, approval, distribution, and revision of quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records. This includes, but not limited to, Internal Corrective Actions (ICAR), Management of Change (MOC), Translated Documents, etc. Coordinate internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate external audits by customers, regulatory bodies, or certification agencies, ensuring readiness and facilitating audit processes. Manage document control processes, including document creation, review, approval, distribution, and archiving, to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.  Provide training and support to employees on QMS requirements, procedures, and tools to foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and adherence to standards Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to track performance, identify trends, and drive corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate supplier quality performance. Establish quality requirements for suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and manage supplier corrective actions to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials and components. Support the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis to enhance product quality.  Stay updated on changes to quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices, and ensure timely compliance and adaptation within the organization.  Identify potential risks to product quality and customer satisfaction. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize the impact of quality-related issues on business operations.  Other duties may be assigned.   REQUIREMENTS   Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. One to two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Previous experience in quality management or quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of quality management principles, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA). Experience with quality management tools and techniques, such as root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and quality audits. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Attention to detail and ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software applications. Certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor) is a plus.
