This position reports to the Site GM at our plant in Oriskany, NY.   The Quality Manager's function is to direct and coordinates all activities related to maintaining and improving the quality of work performed by CPP-Steel Treaters. The Quality Manager will upkeep and maintain the Quality Management System and all relevant certifications/ approvals that are critical to CPP-Steel Treaters business.  Acting Management Representative for all ISO9001/AS9100 third party audits.  The Quality Manager will be responsible for compliance to all local, state and US Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations. Major Responsibilities: QMS upkeep and maintenance to include but not limited to: Internal Audits CA/PA's Continuous Improvement Initiatives Document & Data Control Supplier Approval Calibration Customer Satisfaction Monitoring Process Product Deviations Management Review EHS Systems and Compliance Management responsibilities for QC technician(s) Oversee internal, external and 3rd party audit scheduling and performance. Drive effective and timely completion quality measures, projects, initiatives and corrective actions. Respond quickly and thoroughly to customer needs and issues as they arise. Requirements: Education: BS with 5+ years of quality experience. With nineteen facilities across the United States, Mexico and Europe, CPP specializes in high-precision, geometrically complex aerospace components and subassemblies. CPP's capabilities include directionally solidified/single crystal (DS/SC) castings, investment casting (super alloys, aluminum, steel, magnesium), dry sand, green sand and permanent mold. In-house services include rapid prototyping, stem drilling, tool construction, machining, ancillary processing, painting, coating, kitting and assembly. We are an AS9100 registered company.
