Join us and be a part of a team that puts people first! We are currently looking for a full-time IT Field Technician to assist with metal recycling activities. This position will be based out of our Becker, MN location. Essential Functions: Answer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from employees experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, telephony, and other computer related technologies  Setup and install new desktop and laptop equipment according to our standards ensuring proper installation of cabling, operating systems, and appropriate software Resolve the majority of technical issues without additional assistance     Manage customer expectations through proper communication      Provide proper follow-through to ensure issues are resolved to satisfaction         Participate in special projects as assigned by management   Provide after-hours, on-call emergency support as needed          Provide support for iPhone, iPad, Android, and other electronic devices      Document and update installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance procedures         Promote Information Security within the business     Install cat5 cabling or Fiber       Install and maintain IP cameras, able to operator a man lift        Ability to install all IT hardware Requirements:·          Must enjoy solving a wide variety of problems on a continual basis     Skills and experience with the use of technology in a business environment, including exposure to Help Desk support, data communications/networks, and application environments Ability to learn new processes and technologies       Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment        Knowledge of basic Active Directory administration         Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN and WAN network topology and design       Hardware troubleshooting and build experience with HP Desktops        Able to move PC equipment (monitors, printers, laptops, etc.) as required to complete assigned installation and troubleshooting tasks   Desired Skills and Experience: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Highly self-motivated 1st Class customer service skills An ability to quickly diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues Able to work as a team and also individually MCP, CCENT, and A+ Certifications HP and Cisco software and hardware experience Knowledge of Cisco or other Voice Over IP systems  WE OFFER: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits including health insurance and 401(k) Paid Time Off An ethical, responsible work culture A fun work environment where our teammates feel appreciated    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The work environment and physical working characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
