Join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality sheet metal products.Duties:- Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal according to specifications- Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area- Perform typical laser cutting operations.- Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures.- Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.- Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.- Perform prescribed maintenance as required.- Perform all-dimensional inspections.- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.- May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.Qualifications:- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations- Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers- Familiarity with welding processes is a plus- Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus- Knowledge of CNC operations is preferred
