Continuous hands on training will always be provided.Physical Duties:Patch and paint the common areas of the building.Wallpaper repair in the common areas of the building.Responsible for general cleaning of the engineering spaces.Clean and paint non-operating mechanical equipment that has been shut down, locked out, and tagged by the Supervisor.Provide light electrical duties, such as changing light bulbs.Willingness to learn to become a full-time Building EngineerEmergency Response:Maintain preparedness for an emergency response to flood, fire, power outage, earthquake, and other disasters.Respond to project emergencies.Teamwork & Customer Service:Be a team player and contribute to the creation of an enjoyable, productive, and safe work environment.Be prepared to assist team members with tasks not strictly related to this job description.Maintain customer service standards as set by the Hospitality Department and General Manager.Display high morale, integrity, loyalty, and professionalism at all times.Be available for overtime in special circumstances in order to complete projects or meet deadlinesQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property managementMust be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screeningHands-on experience or course work in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly desired.Action Property Management is an Equal Opportunity Employer and supports a Drug-Free Workplace.
