LHH is working with a company that is seeking a Senior Tax Associate that has a strong background in ASC 740. The role involves preparing and reviewing income tax returns and workpapers, analyzing quarterly and annual income tax provisions, and assisting in the implementation of income tax planning strategies.Job Responsibilities:Prepare and review working papers, schedules, and reports for income tax returns and provisions.Review and prepare income tax payments, journal entries, and tax analysis.Assist in implementing complex income tax planning strategies.Aid in data gathering, response, and resolution of income tax controversies such as notices and audits.Conduct research on various income tax matters to determine optimal treatment under the law.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.CPA and/or Masters of Taxation/Accounting preferred.Prior experience in Public Accounting is advantageous.Proficiency in Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel.State tax experience is a plus.If you are interested in this opportunity, or if you would like to hear about additional accounting and finance opportunities, please send your resume to Arnand.Gayapershad@
