Job DescriptionHersman Serles Almond (HSA) has specialized in providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to leading northwest organizations and families for over 40 years.We recently merged with Coldstream, an employee-owned, independently operated wealth management firm providing personalized client services to high-net-worth individuals and families. Founded in 1996 and based in Bellevue, we also have offices in Seattle, Mercer Island, Kirkland, Portland, Boise, and Kenai, AK.The HSA team is growing and adding a Bookkeeper position to provide exceptional services to 25-35 of our clients. This is a great opportunity to work closely with experienced Tax Managers, Partners, and other members of our Kirkland team.Responsibilities will include:Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManaging client payroll tax and excise tax complianceEstablishing and maintaining client Quickbooks filesEducating clients on QuickbooksOpportunities to work on additional client projectsWe are looking for a candidate who has:3-5 years of professional experience as a full-charge bookkeeperStrong client service skills and the ability to collaborate with a teamSelf-motivated with strong problem solving-skillsAdvanced QuickBooks skills including experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks DesktopProficient with Microsoft Word and OutlookExperience setting up tax accounts with state agencies, assisting with new business formation, and filing annual reportsExcellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlinesJob BenefitsIn terms of salary expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team.
