Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely mannerTroubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraftPerform and document work completed per appropriate manuals and regulations as requiredInspect incoming parts and documentation to meet regulatory requirementsAssist in other maintenance disciplines - Avionics, Structures, Composites etc.Operate ground support equipment as requiredAssist with mechanical / electrical removals and installationsReturn aircraft to service after maintenance at off-site locationsAct as shipping and receiving agent for parts Provide time estimatesPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsAirframe & Powerplant License Proficient in the English language Typically, a minimum of 3 years aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experienceAbility to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawingsAbility to effectively and accurately communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status with customers at all levelsOwn Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of toolsMust be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidaysMust be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outsideMust have the ability to be available for considerable travel with 2 hours' notice, to include extended assignments lasting up to 30 days.Basic PC SkillsInterpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with assigned employees, other business areas, contractors, and customersPrevious experience in Customer Relations with emphasis on customer facing interactions"Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedureAbility to work unsupervised and aloneStrong troubleshooting skillsThe ability to obtain appropriate certification for Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as requiredMust have a valid drivers' license and be able to maintain insurable statusPossess a valid passport with the ability to travel internationallyAbility to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA)Ability to obtain a Bombardier Corporate Credit Card and stay in good standing of guideline requirementsAdditional Desired/Preferred QualificationsPower Plant CertificateFCC Certificate, GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) CertificateEngine run & Taxi Qualified on Bombardier AircraftDelegated inspector qualifiedRII qualification for various operatorsLegally eligible to work in the United StatesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
