Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer Position Type: Direct Hire Position Location: Mentor, OHPosition Salary: $28/HR - $32/HR (Depending on Experience) + OT Responsibilities: This is a hands-on role on floor that may include programming and then evolve into a more formal programming role.Process development and validation experience - working closely with engineering and quality, interfacing with customer teams as needed.Able to plan out process from start to finish with team and make things happen to get final part.Develop CNC programs for production runs.Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.Modify existing programs for different machines.Maintain tooling database.Make manual program adjustments as necessary.Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product. Requirements:High School Diploma / GED a minimum; Higher Education a plus10+ years of CNC machining experience including setups, turning, milling (vertical and horizontal) experience preferred.Other machining experience including Swiss, mill/turn, EDM, grinding is a plus.CAM programming exposure experience is preferred.Editing and troubleshooting skills at a machine ideal.Must have the desire to learn and become more proficient in programming.Work holding knowledge and understands / develop fixturing for turning and milling with team collaboration is desired.Fanuc based controls expertise needed. Will consider other controls backgrounds a plus.Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge a must.Able to use basic gaging and inspect parts per plan and have a quality mindset.Lean concepts exposure a plus. Believer in 5S and setup reduction.Post machining processing - able to deburr and finish parts per print as needed.Ability to learn quickly and then train others is highly preferred.Experience with diverse materials: steel, aluminum, brass, titanium, Inconel, and stainless.
