Job Description

We are actively hiring for an associate attorney to join our client's growing firm. Our client is a reputable law firm specializing in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Health Care Directives, and Trusts Administration. With a commitment to providing exceptional legal services, they assist clients in planning and managing their estates to ensure their wishes are carried out effectively and efficiently.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning and administration, with at least 2-3 years of experience in the field. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel to clients, drafting essential documents, and assisting with estate administration matters.The salary is ranging between $100-130k (negotiable) plus bonuses. This is a full-time, permanent position offering full benefits, PTO, and other perks.Responsibilities: Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on estate planning matters, including wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and trusts administration. Draft and review estate planning documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Assist clients in developing comprehensive estate plans tailored to their specific needs and objectives. Conduct legal research on estate planning and administration issues to support case preparation and client representation. Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex estate planning cases and trust administration matters. Represent clients in probate proceedings, guardianship matters, and other related legal proceedings as necessary. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, case files, and documentation in accordance with firm policies and procedures. Stay informed about changes in estate planning laws and regulations to provide clients with the most current legal advice and strategies.Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California. At least 2 or 3 years of experience practicing estate planning law, with a focus on wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, and trusts administration. Strong understanding of California estate planning laws, probate procedures, and trust administration processes. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
