Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed such as layups, sills, caulks, sweeps, loads slabs on line, read/interpret tickets.What you will do: Assemble casing molding using machine and make casing kitsModerate level of responsibility to identify defects, make repairs using tools provided, and make decisions for what can/cannot be repairedPerforms other miscellaneous jobs as directedPulls Jambs or other components based in door specificationsPlace Jambs or other components on the line and moves the doors down the line so the Assemblers can access them in their cellsMaintain safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedWhat you will need:High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required1-2 Years in the field or related areaKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of hand tools and small power tools to assemble unitsKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedureKnowledge of Pneumatic equipment (Stapler Machine), tape measure, wood typesRead tape measure to 1/32" inch. Read angle finder and squareHigh quality standard required, and some creativity requiredMaintain operation and cleanliness of all equipmentModerate level of responsibility to identify defects, make repairs using tools provided, and make decisions for what can/cannot be repairedAbility to lift up to 80 lbs., bending, twisting, stooping, excellent dexterity, must work at a fast pace, fast pace is physically demandingStrong eye/hand coordination. Standing for long continuous hoursConstant attention to detail and accuracy of material placementConcentration on proper lifting and ensure floors are kept free of debrisRegular attendance and timeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoid any disruptions in production and customer serviceFollow all operational and safety SOP's as writtenSafe Production:Masonite strives to maintain a target 0% safety incident rate.
