Orion Solutions Group is partnered with a full-service accounting firm providing services in a wide range of business needs in search of an Attest & Tax professional to join their team and strive for growth and development as partner.What's great about this opportunity?Partnership in the firmEmployee growth through a commitment to training and mentoringPartners have over 100 years of experienceResponsibilities:Attest:Planning, fieldwork and "wrap-up" which includes the preparation of financial statements with disclosures, applying GAAP knowledge and documenting, testing, and assessing various systems and balances as appropriate.Tax:Planning and coordinating the various phases of the engagement, preparation and/or review of tax support workpapers and tax returns (complex individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary and other).Act as the client contact for basic questions and information.Supervision, development, and training of staff accountants.Ensure client satisfaction and managing deadlines.Learn and understand the reasons behind the firm's policies and procedures and begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships and loyalty.Qualifications:CPA or credits toward CPA certification.3+ years prior work experience with a public accounting firm.Supervisory experience.Working knowledge of:Microsoft Office Suite.Assurance and tax applications and research tools, including paperless engagement software.Ability to be a primary contact for clients.Ability to work as the "in-charge" for all stages of the engagement.Financial statement and preparation.Tax knowledge and preparation experience.
