The position is full-time, with over-time potential as the workload demands. Second shift positions will come with a shift premium. Pay is competitive and based on experience and capabilities.Responsibilities/daily tasksRead technical drawings to prepare for and plan weldsFabricate components made from a variety of metals by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld piecesInspect and test weld resultsOperate a forklift and overhead craneDocument welds for projects as necessaryMaintain safe work environment by following safety processes and proceduresInspect and ensure equipment functionality and safety before useRecord production in ERP QualificationsAerospace and Defense backgroundMust be able to lift 50 poundsPass AWS tests performed by employerMust be able to effectively read blueprints/drawings Preferred SkillsMIGTIGSub ArcAluminum and specialty metals experience
