We bring "experiences" to the forefront of everything we do and to do that takes special people.Position PurposeThis position will work as part of a project team to deliver a variety of Water Resources projects for both public and private clients. This work will include but is not limited to design and analysis of existing systems, development of proposed design solutions, and assistance with project closeout.Essential Functions + ResponsibilitiesDesign, analysis, and receive permitting for stormwater management facilities (peak flow rate detention and water quality)Delineate drainage areas and use AutoCAD to develop drainage area mapsComplete Hydrograph routing, HydraFlow, Riverine Modeling, FEMA Flood Studies, CLOMR/LOMR letters, and No-Rise certificationsComplete analyses of open channel systems and closed conduit drainage systemsWork in accordance with company standards with project team from concept phase through construction administration for a variety of projectsQualificationsFour-year bachelor's degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field0 - 5 years of experience in water resources and environmental design experienceExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3DExcellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsSelf-starter with strong drive to better oneself, project team, and communityCandidates should be prepared to provide work samples and/or take a CAD assessmentPreferencesEI on path to PE preferredMcAdams is an equal opportunity employer.
