A leading manufacturing company located in the Florence, SC area is seeking highly skilled Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a strong background in manufacturing accounting. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing month-end close processes, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will supervise a team of three finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental objectives are met.Responsibilities:Manage month-end and year-end close processes.Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.Supervise and mentor a team of three finance professionals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controller or similar role within the manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory requirements.Experience with ERP systems and financial software.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
