Job Title: Treasury Officer - Korean SpeakingLocation: New York, NYPosition Overview:A global banking organization is seeking a Treasury Officer with fluency in Korean to join their team in New York. The candidate will be responsible for managing the bank's liquidity, ensuring efficient funding, and overseeing risk management related to treasury operations.The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience in banking treasury and be fluent in Korean.Responsibilities:Monitor the investment portfolio, including preparing investment portfolio reports, amortization/accreditation schedules, investment accounting, identifying and addressing Other-Than-Temporary Impairments (OTTI), and monitoring for exceptional bonds.Prepare and present monthly Treasury & Risk Management Reports to the Board of Directors, and compile Treasury and ALM-related reports for the Parent Bank and regulatory authorities.Manage the Bank's Asset and Liability Management (ALM) system (Copass), and prepare reports related to Interest Rate Risk (IRR) management, including decay ratios, pricing assumptions, GAP studies, and rate shock tests.Prepare ALCO (Asset Liability Committee) packages focusing on interest rate risk and forecast future cash flows for liquidity risk measurement.Prepare documentation for audits and examinations.Perform monthly reconciliation of Chart of Accounts (COA) owned by the Treasury Team.
