Experience: • 24 months of role experience is required. • 24 months of Speech-Language Pathology experience is required. • Experience with Cerner is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a license in hand at the time of application. • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Guaranteed Hours 40 Weekend Requirement: normally 3 weekend shifts per quarter (might have to work one, maybe two weekends depending when their contract falls) travelers may have option to choose to work Saturday or Sunday or both, this is negotiable, will not be a deal breaker if traveler cannot work weekends. What areas are they required to cover?: Inpatient is primarily MedSurg, tele, and ICU with minimal ER and Peds. Common diagnosis / Types of patients: SP - stroke, TBI's, oral/head/neck Cancer, outpatient setting will see 2x more Peds so if they are working outpatient setting they will need to have Peds experience Ideal candidate would be someone with both outpatient and inpatient experience but it is not needed for them to have both, candidates should have basic acute care experience, including total joints - total knees, hips, shoulders if working inpatient Scrub Color/Uniform: Outpatient setting business casual - collared shirt and nice pants, can wear lab jacket if they want, inpatient - have to wear dignity health polos, they will be able to provide them if needed 1 reference from last 36 months (Any reference type)1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology) Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes Certifications: Basic Life Support, Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Job Details Job Type: Travel Nurse/Patient: - - Shift Type: Day Contract Date: 2024-06-03 Expected Length: 13 weeks Hours per Shift: 8 Shifts per Week: 5
