A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced, Korean-speaking Tax professional to join their team as their new Tax Manager.Responsibilities:The Tax Manager will:Manage staff on engagement deliverables; complete reviews as a member of the final review team to ensure quality control standards are metAssist with new client development in partnership with upper management; participate in client meetings and presentation and proposal developmentSupervise, train and mentor staff; listen and communicate effectivelyWork to develop responsible, trained staff by conducting performance feedback and evaluationsDrive a team environment; demonstrate support of management decisions and builds a positive culturePerform other duties, as neededQualifications:5+ years of experience in a Public Accounting and/or a related fieldBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, and/or a related fieldBilingual (English and Korean)Active license (CPA, EA, etc.)Experience in a Leadership and/or Supervisory roleMicrosoft Excel proficientSolid analytical, mathematical, and research skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
