Our team's focus is ensuring our health customers have the right solutions to keep pace with an ever-evolving public health landscape and prevent the next public health crisis.  To explore and learn more, click here!The Leidos Health Solutions Group is seeking a Portfolio Director supporting the FDA, located in the DMV area.  This position will report to the Health Solutions Division Manager, Vice President.The ideal candidate will provide oversight of technical, financial, and schedule execution, as well as risk management in programs, responsible for ensuring alignment with the Division's strategic direction. He/she will help develop cost and operational models for programs, aligned with the customer's changing operational needs. Candidate will collaborate with Division and Portfolio management to help ensure success of all aspects of programs, including team leadership, program execution, strategic initiatives, and client relationships at senior levels of their organizations.Candidate will collaborate with Business Development organization, providing leadership and oversight, working with marketing and business development team members, and supporting proposal and capture activities. He/she will help define the strategy for account growth and opportunity pursuits.Primary Responsibilities:Provide program execution oversight (including multiple high-visibility or strategic programs) across the HHS Division, including policy complianceProvide oversight to active programs on financial performance, risk management, subcontracts, change management, and contract managementSupport program staffing efforts, coordinating with Talent Acquisition professionalsManage Integrated Master SchedulesOversee timeliness and quality of program deliverablesProvide operational oversight, coaching, mentoring, and development for staff and succession planning for programsProvide other support to programs, as neededDevelop materials for and participate in executive reviews and customer presentations.Establish and maintain relationships with clients in concert with program staff and leadership. Promote the Leidos brand and work to enhance our reputationConduct pre-award and post-award program compliance reviewsCollaborate with business development, capture, line leadership and other functions to develop winning solutions for business growth, including re-compete, new business, and take-away opportunitiesMinimum QualificationsMaster's Degree plus 15 years of program management experiencePMP CertificationExperience in managing programs of $50M or more per year at HHSExperience leading teams of 40 or more employeesExperience leading FFP, Cost Plus, IDIQ, and T&M contracts, as well as performance-based contractsSuccessful experience with large complex government health programsMinimum 5 years experience with FDA programs.Experience developing solutions and managing programs in the areas of IT Infrastructure Support, Digital Modernization, Software Solutions and Data AnalyticsExperience in large complex government program leadershipExperience managing multiple subcontractors and vendors in support of prime contractsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to executivesExpertise in leading programs at HHS with a focus on FDA, NIH, CDC or ACFAbility to obtain and maintain a Security clearance - Public TrustPreferred qualifications:Experience with SLAsEVM experienceOriginal Posting Date:2024-04-23While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
