THIS POSITION MAY BE FILLED AT THE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST LEVEL OR THE SR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT LEVEL.  PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONResponsible for providing support to the OR group including management of a PI program or support of a department in the PI processes. Works under minimal supervision, relying on knowledge, skills and judgment acquired through education and relevant experience to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Must have good grasp of the PI processes and a good understanding of the fundamental functions performed by the respective group. This person will interface with various levels of employees and management and be able to analyze data and recommend actions to improve performance. Possesses specialty skills and performs advanced tasks independently with minimal supervisory review. Works independently with broad supervisory review and actively imparts knowledge to others. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESPerform Support and oversight of PI Programs. Responsible for implementing performance improvement programs and providing support and oversight of those programs or Responsible for oversight of a department in regards to their Performance Improvement.
