12+ month renewable term contract. Potential to extendoption to hire.Client: Nestle Purina. A major global corporation and a leader in their industry operating over 350 manufacturing facilities with annual revenue earning over $19 B and employing over 15,000.Role:Provide process engineering support to plant staff working under corporate direction.Assist in development of PFDs, block flows and P&IDs.Conduct vendor coordination andor identification of OEM providers of any equipment not already selected.Coordinate review meetings, status updates, startup assistance, commissioning assistance and operator training.Review layouts and provide input to adjustments required.Assist in development of equipment list.Provide project management support services.Provide project management support for the project up to and through engineering phase.Perform construction management support regarding project scope.Assist in development or updating a project schedule with associated milestones.Coordinate with engineers on OEM equipment status updates and deliveries.Provide guidance and assistance in development of a capital budget.Maintain and update MOC process documentation for the project.Prepare scope, schedule, and budget documentation for funding reviews.Participate in all discipline design reviews.Work with plant and corporate representatives to refine project objective, scope and success metrics as needed.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.7 -10+ experience in capital project management.Background in process flow (PFD) and P&ID.Primary experience in industrial manufacturing.Manufacturing plant construction experience is a plus.Scheduling software knowledge (P6 or MS Project), cost reporting and trending through project management tools and Microsoft Excel.Food manufacturing background is a plus.
