Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of educationAt least 15 years of experience in Information TechnologyProven experience in architecting and implementing SRE practices in complex, distributed systems.Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry (OTEL), Prometheus, Grafana, and AppDynamics.Expertise in logging and troubleshooting using Splunk.Experience with containerization tools (Docker) and orchestration systems (Kubernetes).Proficiency in cloud platforms, especially GCP and Azure.Hands-on experience with Python and Java programming languages.Familiarity with DevOps practices and CICD pipelines.AgileScrum certification or experience working in AgileScrum environments.PreferredAs an SRE Lead consultant, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and implementing a robust Site Reliability Engineering strategy for our business. You will be responsible for setting up Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) using cutting-edge observability and monitoring tools. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems, with a strong focus on performance optimization and incident response.Observability and Monitoring:Implement and optimize end-to-end observability solutions using OpenTelemetry (OTEL), Prometheus, Grafana, and AppDynamics.Define and implement SLAsSLOs to ensure the reliability and performance of critical business applications.Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize Docker and Kubernetes to orchestrate and manage containerized applications, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance.Cloud Platforms: Leverage cloud services on GCP and Azure to enhance the resilience and efficiency of our infrastructure. Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and Java for scripting, automation, and creating custom monitoring solutions.DevOps Practices:Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate SRE principles into the CICD pipelines, ensuring smooth and reliable software delivery.Logging and Troubleshooting:Implement log management solutions using Splunk for effective troubleshooting and debugging. AgileScrum Methodology:Work within AgileScrum teams to ensure that SRE practices align with development cycles and project timelines.Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and drive continuous optimization.At least 7 years of experience in software development life cycle activities on Application development and maintenance projects using Java, JEE technologiesGood Troubleshooting, Analytical, Communication and Client Interfacing skillsExperience and desire to work in a Global delivery environmentThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
