Job Description

Overview:As a Store Manager, you will drive sales and selling with a focus on our target. You will direct all activities related to selling & service, merchandising, sales promotion, store maintenance, shortage prevention and sales support functions for the store. You will also support Sales Associates in the store-wide execution of these activities to provide the highest standards of customer experience to our US customers.You will be responsible for the training, coaching, well-being and the development management of your team. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with management at Tangram Mall and neighboring for networking, while also keeping up with all events and promotions to ensure smooth operations in our store. Essential Functions:SalesCreate, drive and exceed sales goals by developing & executing strategies; determine business-driving opportunities.Track sales numbers to plan strategies and make memos of top clientele and to construct daily and monthly reports.Ensuring the Brand is represented in-store by a team who are passionate about enacting the highest level of customer service.Lead the team toward selling through coaching, follow-up, and recognition.Ensure merchandise presentation, sales and event set-up and signing standards through direction of Sales team at the corporate office of MIKI HOUSE U.S.A.Keep track of both physical and digital inventory, sales, customer information, company documents and property, while responsibly handling confidential and time sensitive materialsEnsure consistent attendance among the Store staff members and ensure policies and procedures are followed by every member of the team, while also creating schedules to meet associates and store needs.Ensure to submit executive reports to the Sales Manager in a timely manner.Take a leadership role in delivery of all Company initiatives; clearly communicate objectives and priorities to the team.Establish a high level of shortage awareness and effectiveness; ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented.Assume total store leadership in absence of Sales Associates and partner in the strategic planning of short- and long-term goals.Market company product: find new ways to reach out and build customer base through word of mouth, promotion, personal and networking.CustomerCoach Associates to consistently deliver selling behaviors resulting in high customer engagement and meeting customer needs.Ensure executive presence and appropriate coverage throughout the storeMaintain high customer readiness standards; deliver a clean, neat and easy to shop store environment.PeopleEnsure all required Sales Associate training is conducted on a timely basis and that team is always aware of current topics and promotions.Celebrate and recognize selling successes and coach Sales Associates to improve selling performance.Review and utilize all performance, including Selling Area performance, and Sales Associate observations; provide feedback to Sales Manager and identify areas of opportunity.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Qualifications:EducationExperienceA minimum of 3 years of retail management experienceManagement SkillsStrong organizational, planning, prioritizing, interpersonal, communication and leadership skillsStrong leadership profile and negotiation skillsOther SkillsEnglish and Mandarin (business level)Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Ability to work well with all levels of management, build partnerships and direct teams.Ability to anticipate and solve problems, act decisively and persist in the face of obstacles.Work HoursFlexibility with schedule, dependent upon business needsLocation: Tangram Mall in Flushing, NYReport To: Sales Manager
