Vari® is looking for an experienced, energetic, and goal-orientated Sales Manager to add to its Sales Leadership Team. This position is a full-time, inside sales management role, with a focus on leading a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) covering the United States. This team's specific focus is on new business development and fielding inbound leads.WHO YOU AREYou:Raise the bar by taking the initiative to achieve results and make excellence your goal.Create lifelong fans by making customer experience your top priority.Are authentic and say what you mean, share how you feel, and are your true self.Are a team player and foster a sense of community by recognizing and valuing the unique contributions of our team.Believe it's possible and look at challenges optimistically - seeing opportunities to bring solutions to the table.Embrace change and recognize the industry and the company is evolving.WHAT YOU'LL DOManage a team of 6-8 BDRsWork with senior leadership to set appropriate metrics and achieve those by successfully coaching, training, and developing the Business Development RepresentativesEstablish, implement, and monitor appropriate metrics to drive the right customer experienceProvide regular, consistent feedback to improve individual skills and productivityResponsible for helping Vari find future sales talent through university and career fairsOwn development of future Vari sales talent through hands-on coaching and objective setting to master key competenciesWork strategically with peers in leadership to ensure proper business needs are being metIdentify and implement process improvements to achieve sales and customer experience objectivesEnsure consistency in sales call flow and skills as neededClearly understand and articulate sales and call data activity to the appropriate internal staff and leadershipLive monitoring and 1:1 coaching of sales reps to enhance soft skill trainingAssist on calls and strategy to obtain new customers and retain existing fans HOW YOU'LL GET THEREMinimum of 2 + years of successful experience in sales leadership in a B2B selling environment required. Inside and outside sales experience preferred.Experience working in a matrix environment with marketing and sales operationsProven track record driving YoY growthExcellent verbal and written communication skills are essentialAll core skills and knowledge of the sales cycle of a Business Development and Account Management roleAdvanced selling & negotiation skillsManagement skills (mentoring, coaching, counseling) for sales personnel optimizationHigh level of business acumenSalesforce HVS or Outreach CRM cadence tool experience requiredResults-oriented, self-motivated and driven by both financial and career opportunitiesCOMPANY DESCRIPTIONWe started by developing the world's leading sit-stand desk converter to help a coworker with back pain, but now we're so much more than a desk.
