City Wide Facility Solutions St. Louis, named a "Best Place to Work in STL 2023" is looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor that will oversee janitorial contractors on a nightly basis. This position is responsible for ensuring the scope of work for our clients is successfully completed according to City Wide and client expectations.The work week is Monday-Friday. The shift typically starts at 5pm and ends at 1am. You will start your shift from home and finish your shift at home. You are not required to come into the office on a daily basis.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain productive working relationships with all service providersCommunicate with service providers regarding complaints, inspection results and facility issuesCoach and assist new service providers on proper procedures and equipmentEffectively communicate with the Account Manager and Operations Manager to make recommendations of service providers for work assignmentsPerform nightly facility inspections on a pre-determined routeMaintain records and inventories in buildings on routeRequirementsDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsEnergetic, hard-working, dependable, and detail-orientedAbility to work independentlyPrevious management experience6 months of related experience andor training (preferred)Solid understanding of basic business mathAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceReliable transportation and current automobile insurancePhysical DemandsThe physical demands are representative of requirements that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
