This will be done with various outbound efforts and targeting accounts that will help grow our sales pipeline.Responsibilities:Nurture, educate and qualify outbound leads to create sales-ready opportunities via phone and email, social selling etcResearch accounts prior to first contact to understand the prospect needs and educate the prospect on the huge problem that CHEQ's platform can solvePerform outbound cold calling targeting companies that meet CHEQ's customer profileBecome a credible resource and develop trusted relationships with prospectsWork closely with Sales Managers to identify and uncover opportunities at target accountsIdentify opportunities to hand-off to the Sales Account Executive for further follow-upResponsible for meeting BDR metrics and assigned goalsResponsible for managing leads through a defined processRequirements:Minimum 1 year of lead qualificationbusiness development experience within a technology company, in support of providing qualified leads to the sales organizationExperience in outbound cold calling targeting multiple-level contacts including executive managementExperience selling to VP and CxOExcellent lead follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads from marketing-generated campaigns and incoming phone and web inquiriesExperience in prospecting, nurturing, educating, and qualifying target prospects to create sales-ready opportunitiesStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectivelySuperior pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling skillsSuperb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate products highlighting benefitsadvantagesfeaturesSelf-starter, with high-energy, positive phone presenceAbility to work in a hybrid environment that requires in-office teamwork at least 3 days a weekThe base pay range for this position is 70,000$ - 80,000$ OTE per year. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment historyjob-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, length of service, and geographic location.This position is currently eligible for a bonus component based on specified benchmarks, in accordance with all applicable bonus terms and conditions.
