Head of Engineering | Next Gen BiosensorProteomics Start-Up | Report to FounderCEO | San Francisco-based | Retained SearchSUMMARY:Cornerstone Search Group has been retained by a next generation proteomics company with a highly engaged team focused on pioneering biosensors for molecular diagnostics. The Head of Engineering will spearhead the company's instrument design and engineering for future biosensor commercialization. The Head will have an integral hands-on role in building and shaping the foundation of this future-forward start-up, in collaboration with executives, the internal engineering and chemistry teams, and external vendors. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a well-funded, nimble start-up and be a part of a core team developing devicesinstruments that could have incredible implications across several fields of study. To optimize internal collaboration, our client ideally prefers a candidate who is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, or is open to relocation, and who equally values an in-person collegial atmosphere.
