May perform respiratory therapy procedures as required. All personnel perform related work. Assignment Level IUnder medical and technical direction of a duly licensed Physician, with moderate latitude for independent initiative and judgment, performs the following functions and activities:Major DutiesIdentifies quality assurance issues and ensures adherence to established protocols and standards of care. Provides in service training related to the delivery of respiratory therapy services.May participate in research activities related to respiratory care. Participates in product evaluations.
