With pewag Inc. distribution locations in Illinois and California and affiliated locations across the country, pewag Inc. strives to provide excellent customer service and technical support in the United States and Canada.Warehouse Manager Job Responsibilities:Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer serviceReview and prepare workflow, personnel and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are metMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and proceduresComply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirementsSafeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocolsControl inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconcile with data storage systemsAchieve financial objectives by preparing an annual warehouse budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variancesComplete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employeesMaintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employeesImprove staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employeesWarehouse Manager Qualifications Skills:Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate workTech-savvy, with experience with ERP software (Epicor Prophet 21 preferred) and barcode scanning technologyEffective oral and written communication skillsStrong leadership and management skillsUnderstanding of safety rulesKnowledge of general software and applicationsEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 3 years as a warehouse manager or warehouse lead role managing hourly employeesOSHA Forklift CertificationBilingual (English, Spanish) preferredThis position is based out of pewag's Bolingbrook headquarters and works first shift Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm, with some occasional overtime work outside those hours.
