You will work closely with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver precise and effective radiation treatments while ensuring patient safety and comfort.Key Responsibilities:Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by oncologists, following established protocols and safety guidelines.Position patients accurately and provide immobilization devices to ensure targeted delivery of radiation to the affected area.Monitor patients during treatment sessions, assessing their response and reporting any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.Collaborate with radiation oncologists and medical physicists to develop treatment plans and adjust as necessary based on patient progress.Educate patients and their families about the radiation therapy process, potential side effects, and self-care measures.Maintain accurate treatment records, documentation, and quality assurance measures in compliance with regulatory standards.Minimum Qualifications:Education:Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program is required.Experience:None Required.License(s):Ability to obtain and maintain a Radiation Therapist License from ARRT.Certification(s):Ability to obtain and maintain BLS Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Radiation Control Program License for Radiation Therapy is required upon puter Typing:Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
