Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Here, what you do matters.Job Overview:The role is for Supervisor of Piping Design with responsibility for plant layout and piping design for Onshore Oil & Gas, LNG, and Renewables Industry projects. The work includes conceptual studies, FEEDs, estimates, detail design, and construction support. The successful candidate is able to effectively communicate technical solutions and concepts and can be assigned as the piping lead on a project. Responsibilities for Internal CandidatesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Plot Plan Development - Familiar with the latest standards and codes. Focuses on Total Installed Cost incorporating Construction execution and concepts, modular designs and maintenance and operational requirements. Able to plan and incorporate all underground requirements.Plant Layout Capabilities - Produce layouts that incorporate safety, maintainability, operability and constructability at the lowest Total Installed Cost. Incorporate Instrument, Electrical, CivilStructural, Piping flexibility and Pipe supports into a well-developed layout.Detailed Engineering and Design - Has sound knowledge of all piping materials and specifications and can develop and incorporate standard piping designs.Coordinate with supporting offices.Identify potential changes.Mentor junior designers.Review piping designer work to assure quality.Assist in schedule and manpower planning for projects.Qualifications for Internal CandidatesEssential Qualifications and Education:15+ Years of Piping Design experienceHigh School DiplomaMastered current engineering design and drafting software packages.Demonstrates broad technical knowledge of design concepts and systems. Strong communication skills and professional ethicsPreferred Qualifications and Education:Some college or associate degree preferred.Module experience preferred. EA Posted: 4112024
