Job Description

Our Tier-1 client, a leading supplier in the design & manufacturing of exterior structural components, is recruiting for Customer Quality Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure that the products andor services an organization provides are fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization Report to top management on the performance of the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System and any need for improvement Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization and liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Quality Management System, and Environmental Management System Management Rep for ISO 14001 and TS-16949Achieve and maintain TS-16949 certification and complianceDevelop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirementsEffectively interact with Production and Development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new productsWorking with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliersEnsuring compliance with national and international standards and legislationSet boundary standards and establish clearly defined quality methods for staff to applyDefining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staffSetting up and maintaining controls and documentation proceduresLiaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specificationsEstablishing standards of service for customers or clientsMonitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reportsOrganize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Company's Management team (Member of Management Team)Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering trainingCollating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parametersEnsuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessarySupervising technical staff in carrying out tests and checksWriting technical and management systems reportsManage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goodsFormulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QAQCMaintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issuesAssessing the product specifications of the company and its suppliers, and comparing with customer requirementsREQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:A businesstechnical bachelor's degreeA minimum of 5 years of Quality Management work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment andor related field. Maintaining the full Quality Management system including; maintaining quality plans, corrective actions, maintaining all certifications, and customer complianceProven experience working in the TS-16949 quality environmentPREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Masters degree TS Lead auditor certification Bi-lingual (Mandarin and English) Good written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of customer procedures and expectationsAbility to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneouslyAbility to take ownership with minimal directionMEDA offers an excellent referral bonus.
