Strategy & Operations Manager | Disrupting Sustainable Furniture Startup | New York (Hybrid) The ClientHarmonic is excited to be working exclusively with a disrupting sustainable furniture scaleup that is looking for a Strategy & Operations Manager to join their growing team in a newly created position. Featured in Forbes, Architectural Digest, Bloomberg & Fast Co this startup is disrupting its market and swiftly becoming the fastest growing business in their space. Using ethical and sustainable methods to create made-to-order pieces, designed, and manufactured in the United States. They have a reputation for creating unique pieces which can't be replicated or found anywhere else on the market. This scaleup is going through an immense growth period where it is expanding in all areas including headcount. The team is around 50 people at the moment and looking forward to welcoming more in their collaborative team to work amongst an innovative forward-thinking group as they expand into brick-and-mortar retail stores this year as part of a strategic expansion plan. The Role: This Strategy & Operations Manager position has been brough in to drive analysis and outline key areas for future investment across their portfolio. This will ensure that they hit key metrics and growth objectives as well as helping to improve operations, for example lead times and customer experience. Reporting to the VP of Operations, this role will proactively drive commercial decision making and expansion for capital efficient investments to meet the growing demands of the business and their clients. Duties:Forecasting SKU's for all programs and materials the business uses.Managing the capacity of manufacturing partners making sure you are in constant contact making recommendations to ensure capital efficiency and marginal opportunities.Work cross functionally with the Director of Finance, Sales team, Operations team and the further outreach of the business.Drive the manufacturing partner accountability for investment in materials and components to meet lead-times for customers.Drive partner negotiations across network working with ops strategy team to optimize working capital investments.What our client would like to see (Essential Experience: 5-7 years' experience in a strategic role with P&L ownership.Strong commercial mindset.Experience working with a fast growth startup scaleupProblem solver.Pro-active and a driver within the business who is results orientated.What we would like to see (Non-Essential Experience): Investment banking experience.Big4 consulting experience.Management Consultancy backgroundSalary: $160,000 - $180,000 + equity.
