Hiring EXPERIENCED Behavior Technicians in in Springfield, VT!GENEROUS SIGN-ON BONUS $650Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team and provide 2:1 support to an 18-year-old individual with specific needs in daily living skills. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing behavior intervention strategies, promoting independence, and fostering skill development in various areas of daily living.Responsibilities:Individualized Support:Provide direct 2:1 support to the 18-year-old individual in daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasksImplement individualized behavior intervention plans developed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to address specific behavioral challengesSkill Development:Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to assess the individual's current skill levels and develop goals for daily living skills improvementUtilize evidence-based practices to teach and reinforce targeted skills, promoting independence and self-sufficiencyData Collection and Analysis:Maintain accurate and detailed records of the individual's progress in daily living skillsCollect and analyze data to track behavior patterns and skill acquisition, adjusting intervention strategies as neededCommunication and Collaboration:Work closely with the individual's family, caregivers, and other support team members to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to skill developmentProvide regular updates and feedback to the BCBA, team members, and relevant stakeholdersCrisis Intervention:Implement crisis intervention strategies as needed, following established protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual and othersProfessional Development:Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current on best practices in the field of behavior analysisRequirementsQualifications:Minimum of a High School DiplomaBachelor's degree in a related field preferred (e.g., psychology, special education, behavior analysis)Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is highly desirablePrevious experience working with individuals who require 2:1 support, particularly in daily living skills developmentStrong understanding of behavior analysis principles and their application in a therapeutic settingMust be willing to work in multiple environments; school, community and homeSkills and Attributes:Compassion and empathyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatience and resilience in managing challenging behaviorsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the individualBenefitsWe offer competitive compensation, choice of 3 health insurance plans, choice of two dental plans, vision insurance, 100% paid life insurance, 401K with match, generous paid time off (PTO), 11 paid holidays, travel pay, monthly travel stipend, administrative pay, employee discount, professional development, iPad, monthly reimbursement of supplies for clients, longevity pay, financial incentives, performance-based raises, and more.
