Your journey starts now!We have an exciting opportunity for a Superintendent, Oil Refinery in Salisbury, MD. The Superintendent will provide leadership and direction to the Oil Refinery Production Team to ensure profitability, and to maximize its efficiency and productivity.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership for the oil refinery production, and laboratory employees responsibilities to include training, and developing the staff to meet the needs of the business.Provide Leadership for safety programs to ensure safe working conditions for all associates and compliance with all local, state and federal requirements. Manage facility programs with the purpose of ensuring the food safety and legality of manufactured product.Provide leadership for environmental programs to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.Manage the execution production and Laboratory operations to ensure maximum equipment and personnel utilization.Manage the execution product quality to ensure customer requirements and specifications are attained.Collaborate with Technical Superintendent to execute operational tasks and preventative maintenance.Perform other task as assigned.Minimum EducationPREFERRED: BS Degree (Agriculture, Management, Business or Chemical Engineering)REQUIRED: High School DiplomaExperience Requirements8 - 10 years experience leading and managing teams.Experience PreferredUnderstanding of manufacturing technologiesUnderstanding of safety programs and requirementsUnderstanding of environmental programs and requirementsUnderstanding of standard software applicationsStrong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of leadership and coaching fundamentalsEnvironmental FactorsAble to move freely throughout the facility to include climbing vertical heights (0 - 150').Exposure to extreme temperatures (0-100 Degrees Fahrenheit), humidity, (0 - 100%).Noise (50db to 100db - hearing protection required) and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).Required to travel to remote AgriBusiness facilities and customer locations.Able to communicate on the telephone and use standard office equipment.Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Affirmative Action employer.
