Focus: Assist in crafting proposals in response to Request for Proposals for public sector projects, and participate actively in the interview process with potential new clients. Lead the comprehensive progression of project designs from conception through completion, embodying forward-thinking leadership and groundbreaking results. Manage both the design team and client relations, ensuring smooth communication, and alignment of expectations. Engage in robust client management, maintaining and strengthening existing relationships while exploring new opportunities for collaboration. Lead, mentor, and inspire junior team members, guiding them towards professional growth and excellence in their respective roles. Skill Set: A minimum of 10 years of experience in an architectural firm, with a proven track record of leadership in significant projects. Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. Strong conceptual, communication, planning, and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to excel as a leader in a team environment across a variety of projects and tasks. Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software is highly advantageous. Comprehensive expertise in interpreting and implementing the International Building Code alongside a deep familiarity with Massachusetts' specific sub-bid legislation for state projects.
