VP of Human Resources SummaryThis position will ensure that the employee experience and HR operations across Wharton-Smith meet the values of current and future business needs of the organization. This position will direct HR operations including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, compliance, employee relations, and HRISdata management. This person will direct process improvements within HR to ensure that processes and service are reflective of the business and marketplace. The Vice President of Human Resources will partner with the CEO, Division COOs, and CFO as well as Field Operations Leadership. Critical skill includes the understanding and application of current vocational thinking about the value of human resources business partnerships. This leader will be expected to lead and contribute to strategic initiatives throughout the Company while nurturing a growing work environment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities This person will be a hands-on leader while engaging in business partnerships at the Division and Field level to ensure that the Total Employee Experience is aligned with Wharton-Smith values and operating principles. They will lead and develop partnerships (internal and external) with a goal of adding value to the business. The VP of Human Resources will need to lead the critical functions noted above, while supporting and guiding the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR strategy. This person will also lead process improvements and policies aimed at achieving scale to the growing business and demographics of Wharton-Smith, while monitoring and working to enhance the employee experience and engagement to maximize retention and employee satisfaction.
