We are a leading construction firm specializing in electrical engineering solutions. This role will focus on the design and implementation of customized substation solutions for our clients. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our projects and ensuring their success.Key Responsibilities:Develop physical designs, grounding designs, and HVMV designs tailored to client needsCreate schematic diagrams and control systems (P&C) to optimize substation performanceGenerate racewaycable schedules and oversee MV switchgearE-house designCollaborate with civil and structural teams to ensure design compliance and integrityConduct system studies and calculations using modeling software, including short-circuit analysis, load flow analysis, and grounding analysisPerform AC station service and DC battery sizing calculations to support substation functionalityImplement lightning protection measures to safeguard substation infrastructureRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years of consulting experience with power engineering, specifically in substation designStrong knowledge of substation design principles and electrical distribution systemsProficiency in ETAP software is a plusExperience with BlueBeam, Visual, and Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsNot remote - some travel requiredWhat we offer:7 paid holidaysPTO accrual; graded schedule for years of service401(k) matchingInsurance benefit package - Health, Dental, Vision, Life, DisabilityProfit share eligibility on jobs worked
