We need Medication Aides to join our team at Indianspring Skilled Nursing Care and Rehabilitation in Cincinnati, OH.You'll assist with administering of medications and treatments to Assisted Living residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing.$20 to $24 Per HourMedication Aide Certification RequiredUnlicensed personnel who function as a medication aide must have successfully completed a state approved training program from a state approved training provider for administration of medications. We can assist with these training programs.You'll Be Responsible For:Following the policies & procedures of the facility governing the administering of medications to residentsReporting any medication error, clinical issue or resident need that you are unable to address to the charge nurse andor nurse managerAssisting in developing and implementing procedures to discover when, where, and why medication errors take place, & how they can be preventedPerforming administrative requirements, such as completing & submitting necessary forms, documentation, etcMaintaining a friendly, productive, working relationship with other members of the department of nursing, attending physicians, the Medical Director, & pharmacistsAttending & participating in care plan meetings as necessary.
